Your idea reminded me of similar story I heard from Dr Wayne Dyer. His car stalled in traffic and he couldn’t get it started. The guy behind him was just laying on the horn. So, he got out of his car and said. “Look, I can’t figure out how to start my car, and with you laying on the horn like this, I assume you do. So let’s switch – you go start my car and I’ll sit back here and lay on the horn until you do!”

Ron,

Thanks for being the “point man” by constantly keeping an eye out for ways to add substance to life and sharing examples of inspiration and courage. The article in USA Today: ‘For one cancer patient, it was a night to remember’ points out the vALue of friends and family and the strength they provide to help keep “normALcy” to life. The caring and goodness of others can and does make difference. Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be perfectly wonderful. When we are looking for ways to laugh, any moment will do. Ashley Riemer’s diagnosis of cancer does not define who she is.

Regardless of where we find ourselves in life, there is great vALue to be found in facing the chALlenges of life with the power of friends and family to keep us focusing on living life “two”gether, and laughing “two”gether. 2 R better than 1.

Ron,

I enjoyed reading your comments regarding Tiger Woods lesson on LIFE. Words can be used to justify anything. Anyone can use a dictionary, pick a few well chosen words, cleverly stitch them together and turn the situation into pretty much whatever they wish to. If there ever is to be true understanding, there must be a determined attempt to go beyond words. It takes far less energy to say something than it does to do something.

Turning words into actions would (no pun intended) help. It’s even more helpful to make sure the words aren’t unconsciously misinterpreted. That being said, Tiger Woods saying he’s returning to
“Bootyism” might not be a good place to start and could be taken the wrong way.

Good luck to Tiger in doing and being who he is.

I have been tested many times in my life for something and each time I tested positive for laughter. To my knowledge there is no cure for humor, except continuAL laughter. In the case for and against smoking, I suggest to lite up with something funny, then inhALe and exhALe as often as possible. Smoke em if you got em.
